PlayStation Calendar: February 2020

February 2020 almost feels like the calm before a storm, we’re just a matter of months away from some of the biggest PlayStation games of all time and potentially the reveal of the PlayStation 5. So, with all the attention on big hitters like; The Last of Us Part II, Final Fantasy VII Remake and Persona 5 Royal (oh who am I kidding with this one, let us weebs enjoy ourselves), it’s easy to forget about what’s coming soon.

Here’s what you have to look forward to in February 2020:

  • The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics – February 4

    Synopsis: In The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance Tactics, you will lead a fledgling resistance of Gelfling against their oppressive overlords, the Skeksis, across more than 50 unique turn-based tactics RPG battles. Along the way, you will recruit and customize new allies by assigning them jobs, modifying their abilities, and outfitting them with equipment to ensure victory. With 14 playable characters, including familiar faces from the classic film and the new Netflix original series, build your own teams and devise winning strategies to overthrow the rule of the Skeksis and restore light to the Gelfling homeworld of Thra!

  • Monster Energy Supercross 3 – February 4

    Synopsis: The only Official Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship videogame is back! Everything is official, from real teams to the training compound, Monster Energy Supercross 3 is the exact replica of the Supercross world! Relive the 2019 AMA Monster Energy Supercross season with 100 riders of both 450SX and 250SX categories, 15 official stadiums and tracks and – for the very first time – race with the official Supercross teams of the 2019 Championship in the career mode.

  • Zombie Army 4: Dead War – February 4

    Synopsis: Hitler’s hordes are back for more in this spine-chilling shooter from the makers of Sniper Elite 4! Abominable occult enemies, epic weapons and a harrowing new campaign for 1-4 players await in 1940s Europe, as you fight to save humankind from undead Armageddon!

  • Yakuza 5 (The Yakuza Remastered Collection) – February 11

  • Azur Lane: Crosswave – February 13

    Synopsis: Taking place in a world where personified battleships from across the globe duke it out, Azur Lane: Crosswave takes the spirit of the mobile game and uses the Unreal Engine to bring its characters to life in a massive 3D world, so fans can see them like they’ve never seen them before. The in-game character designs will also feature cel-shaded anime style 3D graphics that stay true to the original art.

  • Darksiders Genesis – February 14

    Synopsis: Darksiders: Genesis gives players their first look at the world of DARKSIDERS before the events of the original game. Furthermore, it introduces the fourth and last horseman STRIFE, as well as Co-op gameplay for the first time in the history of the franchise.

  • Dreams  – February 14

  • Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] – February 20

    Synopsis: In Under Night In-Birth, a mysterious phenomenon, known only as “the Hollow Night,” has enveloped regions of Japan in darkness for several centuries. Every area affected by the Hollow Night is beset by shadowy monsters–known as “Voids”–who feed off of a power called “Existence.” Most humans don’t possess the ability to see or come in contact with Voids, and therefore remain safe. You, however, are not so lucky. As one of a cast of unique characters, players fight their way through the dangers of the Hollow Night and defeat those who would try to get in your way.   • Conan Chop Chop – February 25

    Synopsis: Venture forth to a world full of strange and wondrous creatures… and crush ‘em all to bits in this epic rogue-lite 1-4 player party game, set in the world of Conan the Barbarian.

  • Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection – February 25

    Synopsis: Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection brings together six classic titles in one game: Mega Man Zero 1, 2, 3 and 4, as well as Mega Man ZX and ZX Advent. The collection also features Z-Chaser, an exclusive new mode created just for this set of games.

  • Two Point Hospital – February 25

    Synopsis: Start with nothing and design a bustling, efficient hospital as you improve the lives of Two Point County’s unfortunate residents. Place wards, treatment rooms, break areas and more to handle any wacky ailment that comes through the door – from people with lightbulb heads to patients suffering from cube-shaped limbs. Expand your organisation across the whole of Two Point County as you build new hospitals, balance the budget and train your staff to take on more complicated diseases – maybe you’ll even have an epidemic on your hands?

  • Overpass – February 27

    Synopsis: In Overpass, the scree slopes, steep inclines, tree trunks and bogs present as much of an obstacle to victory as other drivers. At the controls of powerful buggies and quads from major manufacturers, such as Yamaha, Polaris, Arctic Cat and Suzuki, venture off into extreme off-road environments and challenge yourself on the game’s highly technical tracks. Cope with vehicle damage, and negotiate the many natural and artificial obstacles in your way to achieve the best time possible. Pure speed is not the name of the game; you’ll need to master the realistic terrain physics and unique characteristics of the game’s vehicles.   • One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows – February 28
